That dedicated AI button on your phone can be way more useful than you think
Many new Android phones ship with an AI key, but on several models you can remap it to handy non-AI shortcuts.

AI is the headline feature of almost every new phone, and a growing number now have a physical button just for it. Motorola's Razr Fold and Edge models, the Nothing Phone 4a and the HONOR 600 Pro all include a separate AI key alongside the usual power and volume buttons.
If you don't use an AI assistant every day, that key mostly gets pressed by accident. The good news is that on several phones it doesn't have to stay an AI launcher.
Dig into the settings and you will often find options to remap it: launching the camera, toggling the flashlight, opening a favourite app or triggering another quick action. How much you can customise depends on the brand, with some models far more flexible than others.
Set up well, the button can go from ignored extra to the most useful shortcut on your phone. It's worth a two-minute look in your settings.
